I'm Here

I'm still here. It's nearly 3am. Hurricane Ike came in and slapped us around like he did Tina. We were without power for three hellish days. I've come to realize how granted we take power. I know society thrived for thousands of years without electricity but damn! More pictures and stories to come.

Dear Discourteous Driver.....

You saw me heading for that gas pump, but yet you sped past me and took that spot. Fortunately for you, I'm not a petty man to start a fight over a gas pump. However, I'm not zen enough to post a picture of your vehicle and tell the whole world that your mother was probably a man. I also hope you have a flat tire in the middle of the highway and nobody stops to help you. You sir, can kiss my butt!!!!!!

I certainly hope Kathleen has a good sense of humor. I can't imagine many women being happy about turning 40. Much less having it advertised on Kingsland Blvd. in Katy.

I was in the parking lot at work the other day when three antique planes flew overhead. In the time it took for me to find my camera, get it out, turn it on, this was the best shot I could get.

Pulling out of the gas station yesterday (my butt felt a little sore after paying) I noticed this building. Aside from the color, it looked like it used to be a sonic-type restaurant at one time.

Someone's Dream House

The builder in my neighborhood started this house a few months ago. For some reason progress has stalled. Today I noticed this damage. I sure hope they get around to fixing it.
